Girlfriends!!!!

Hi Friends!
Our last class of the summer is next Wednesday!  Hard to believe that summer fun is winding down.

Girls just want to have fun!” right?  So let’s celebrate “Girlfriends!!!”   Class is Wednesday, August 21st from 5-7 pm.  There is one opening left.  When that fills, I am happy to start a waiting list for a second class.

This class has some fun layouts including a peek through window card, a flap card, and tri-fold.  These cards also have lots of possibilities for your choice of sentiment (“Girls just want to have fun!”  “All hail the birthday Queen!”  “Friends for Life”  “Friendship isn’t a big thing…it’s a million little things” “Today belongs to you” “Never regret anything that made you laugh!”) as well as birthday, thank you and thinking of you.  Hope to see you soon!  May all your days bring joy!

Wildflower Silhouettes

How fun to try a new technique! Ink a piece of paper and mist it with water, then lay a second sheet of card stock on top. The results are always spectacular and unique.  After the paper dries, stamp your favorite images and mount.

Christmas in July

Merry Sunday Everyone!

It doesn't seem possible but Christmas will be here in five months.  Why not beat the holiday rush and make some greeting cards next week?  Christmas in July class is Tuesday, July 23rd from 5-7 pm.  This evening class is full.  I would really like to have a second class as there is one person on the waiting list.  Also several people who are registered would like to come in the afternoon. So if you haven’t signed up and want to come… there would be 2-3 openings in both classes.  Please let me know you'd like to sign up.  Have a great week!

By the Sea

Happy Summer Everyone!
A quick trip to the Oregon Coast has me wanting more time near the ocean!  Here are photos of cards inspired by a visit to the sea.  I’ve opened up a second class for By the Sea, Thursday, July 11th from 1:30-3:30 (1 opening at that time and 2 openings from 5-7 pm.)

We will be learning some techniques in this class….how to create a wainscot background for the pelican card; highlighting craft paper with white colored pencil; and how to sponge ink to create an ocean background for those cute little sandpipers.

A very special thank you and kudos to Linda who gifted me with a pelican card she designed (SO darling!!!!)  She also gave me the stamp, cardstock, twine, and cards... materials for both card classes!!!!  How generous, Linda, thank you! thank you!   AND…it gets even better…she prepared ALL the materials, cut and scored the wainscot panel, and embossed the ovals and tags!!!  What a LOT of time and effort!  Linda, you are amazing!

Thank you for your support!  Looking forward to seeing you soon!  Enjoy a beautiful day!

Celebrate Summer!

Summer classes are here!!!  Join the fun and come to Celebrate Summer, Tuesday, July 2nd.  These are all occasion cards (birthday, thank you, thinking of you, celebrate) full of summer fun!

Friendship Blooms

Hi Friends!
What a gorgeous sunny week!  We are blessed in the Inland Northwest!  Now if we can just get the sun to stick around for the weekend. J

Celebrate special friends….Friendship Blooms class Thursday, May 9th.  The class is full, but I am happy to have a second class on Friday if 4 or more people want to come then.  Please let me know and I will get the word out!

I had so much fun making all of these cards.  Each can be personalized to celebrate the special women in your life.  Just in time for Mother's Day, too.  I can't decide which is my favorite this time.

The tulips are a Unity Stamp Co stamp.  The apricot flower and repeating black and white flower stamps are Hero Arts.

Butterfly Kisses

Dreaming of butterflies and flowers and spring!  Fluttering butterflies to bring you cheer!  If you would like to join in creating your own cards, there are three openings on Friday, April 12th from 4-6 pm.  Just let me know!!!

Techniques used:  heat embossing with black and gold then watercolor pencil or marker painting. I had fun with some "inchies" stamping one inch squares and mounting. Also, another fun folded card for you to make. Happy Spring, Friends!
