Class designed for you and your child!  With your assistance, your child makes four valentine cards with decorated envelopes.  Light refreshments - $12.00 

Faux Metallic Cards

Tuesday, February 18^th 5-7 pm

 Learn the technique of embossing and inking foil to create a stunning metallic look.  Create five elegant 5” x 7”cards.  Light refreshments - $20.00

Stamped Pendants (new class)

Saturday, March 15^th  10 AM- noon

 Stamp designs into Sculptey clay, rub on perfect pearls and bake.  Make 3-4 beautiful pendants ready for you to turn into a necklace with a chain or cord.  Perfect gifts!  Light refreshments - $20.00

EXCITING NEWS!

Hi Friends,

I hope 2014 has started off in wonderful ways!  It’s been an exciting week here (in a great way)…as Michaels is in the process of hiring me as an instructor!  

I did want to pass on a great opportunity for classes at Michaels.  Usually the classes are $25 and you buy the supplies.  However, if you attend their Open House (North Division) this Saturday and if you sign up for classes between 11 am – 2 pm then all classes are $20…PLUS you will get a coupon for $20.00 off your supplies for signing up.  All the instructors will be there for you to meet.  Just wanted to pass along a great savings!!!!

There are tons of fun classes:  decorating cakes; paper crafting; jewelry; crochet/knitting; and fine art painting.  I will be teaching the jewelry (Mon. evenings) and paper crafting classes (Thurs. evenings.)

Woo-Hoo!!!

Hi Friends!
Three of my cards have been published in the Winter 2014 issue of TAKE TEN magazine.  I'm thrilled!  Two of the cards were designed for a "stamp on felt" challenge and the other was a art-deco card from a summer class.  All cards used Unity Stamp Company stamps...love them!  Thanks for sharing in my excitement!!!!!!

Let It Snow! Class

Let It Snow class is Tuesday, December 3^rd from 5-7 pm.  T Who can resist cute snowmen?!?!?  Celebrate the season and create cards to send holiday wishes and warm greetings! (my favorite sentiment – “Consider yourself snow kissed!”)

Holiday Gift Workshop

Holly Jolly Fun!!!!  In this workshop we will make two decorative “folios,” one with a note pad and one with a post-it pad and pen. There are lots of choices for colors and embellishments.We also will create two cards specially made to hold gift cards and a set of magnets* to gift wrap. 

Just had a cancellation for the Holiday Gifts Workshop this Saturday, November 16^th.  10:00-noon class - 1 spot now open.  Please let me know if you’d like to come.  J

Holiday Greetings!

It’s not too late to sign up for the Holiday Greetings class this Wednesday, November 6^th.J  (Two places left!) 

I had a great time creating a pop-up card and a “tent” card that opens to display greetings.  The wonderful thing about this card is that it won’t fall over!  I’ve wanted to try button ornaments inspired by a card I pinned long ago on Pinterest.  These cards are embellished with rick-rack and doilies and LOTS of sparkles!
