Cards for Kids

Thursday, September 11th    5-7 PM

Make five cards and envelopes to send birthday, get well or thank you wishes to your little ones (or friends young at heart.)  Teddy Bears, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet and Pirates…fun for all!  Light refreshments.  $20.00

Five elegant wine themed cards “aged to perfection.”  For lovers of wine…create all occasion cards to celebrate the fruits of the vine!  Light refreshments.  $20.00

Autumn Splendor

Thursday, October, 9th    5-7 PM

Celebrate the splendor of autumn days with five fall themed all occasion cards and envelopes.  Create birthday, thank you, or thoughts of you with gorgeous autumn colors.

Need some stocking stuffers and handmade gifts?  Make a tea time gift, holiday favor box, decorative wrapped soap, altered mini-composition book and a gift card holder.

A beautiful gift for family or friends. Make an altered file folder album perfect for family photos or favorite recipes!  (Directions for project so you can make another at home.)

Who can resist glittering snowflakes and adorable snowmen?  Celebrate the magic of snow!  Make five all occasion cards with envelopes.  Let it snow!! (But please not on the day of class :-)  Light refreshments.  $20.00

I Love Books

Happy Friday!!!

TGIF!!!  Hoping this weekend brings you crafting moments!  I LOVE BOOKS is this coming Tuesday, August 19th from 5-7 pm.  

For all my book loving friends (Who doesn’t LOVE books!?!?) here is the perfect class for sharing your passion!  “I LOVE big books and I cannot lie!”  “No one is too old for Fairytales”  “A good book has no ending” and “Love is in the pages of our story.”  Techniques in this class is a little bit of everything:  distress, painting with watercolor pencils, button embellishment, and a window card.

For those who are thinking about going back to school…You can personalize these cards to say “Welcome Back,” “You are a Class Act!” or “School Days, Golden Rule Days.”

Class has filled, but I’ve started a wait list.  If more people are interested in coming, I’ll offer a second session of this class.

Altered File Folder Workshop

Good Morning!!!

Have been working all week on designs for our next class ALTERED FILE FOLDERS WORKSHOP next Saturday, August 2 from 9:30AM - Noon. Altering file folders is so much fun that now I am thinking of future class for fall…a decorative Holiday Recipe Album, perhaps! :-) 

In this workshop, you will make two beautiful gifts made from altered file folders: a Memo Pad and an Inspirational Mini Album. The Memo Pad is 4 x 6” with a magnetic closure and inside pocket.  It is covered with decorative papers (designs vary) and embellished with bling and/or a flower!  The mini album has 8 pages and 5 tags with stamped inspirational quotes fromTim Holtz and Unity Stamp Company; aged with distress inks; and embellished with ribbon, tule, and rhinestone gems.

You’ll also receive directions for each project so you can make more at home!  Turn your mini album into a keepsake for precious photos of family and friends or alter it fit any special occasion!

This workshop will take at least 2 1/2 hours and is $25.00.

Christmas in July

One hundred degrees and a class for holiday cards.  LOL  CHRISTMAS IN JULY is a week from tomorrow, Wednesday, July 23rd from 5-7 pm.  Silver and gold heat embossed powders add a touch of elegance and shine to these cards.  And, there’s plenty of glitz and bling embellishments, also, to make your holiday cards sparkle!!!!

Little Peeps

Hello Friends!  I fell in love with these chick stamps from Unity Stamp Company!!!  So, so cute!!!  Little Peeps is Saturday, July 19th 10 AM- Noon.  Make a set of five cards to send happy wishes (birthday/thinking of you/thank you)…OR, package them up with some of my raffia to give as a gift set.  The pocket card is very fun and Lil' Peep Dad has a variety of conversation bubbles to choose from.  Space is available...2 spots left!

Our next class is CELEBRATE SUMMER, coming up Tuesday, June 17th from 5-7 pm.  

Cool drinks by the pool, ocean dreams, bicycles, flip flops…create all the delights of summer in five all occasion greeting cards!   Fun techniques include :  a card with sea shell inchies and charm; a card using distress inks on metallic paper.
